Ruby is a very nice programming language created by Yukihiro “Matz” Matsumoto. I will not iterate through what makes it so great since that information is available all over the web, but here’s what William Morgan says about it:
Ruby’s the only language I’ve ever used that feels like it was designed by a programmer, and not by a hardware engineer (Java, C, C++), an academic theorist (Lisp, Haskell, OCaml), or an editor of PC World (Python).
